Ludwigsburg bringing in experienced guard for next season
Patrick spent last season in Israel
Ludwigsburg, Germany – MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg has signed American guard John Patrick for the upcoming season.
Patrick, 32, spent last season with Hapoel Gilboa Galil in the Israeli Premier League. He averaged 12.6 points, 4.3 assists and 3.7 rebounds in 29 games.
Prior to that, Patrick played for the Austin Spurs in the NBA G League, where he averaged 14.3 points, 5.1 assists and 4.6 rebounds in 33 games.
"John is a very experienced guard who can play both point guard and shooting guard," said Ludwigsburg coach John Patrick. "He's a good shooter, passer and defender. We're excited to add him to our team."
Patrick is the second American player to sign with Ludwigsburg this offseason. The team previously signed forward Justin Johnson.
