Chicago, IL - June 6, 2023 The Chicago Sky extended their winning streak to four games on Monday night with a 102-97 overtime victory over the Indiana Fever. The Sky's "4-Headed Monster" of Marina Mabrey, Kahleah Copper, Candace Parker, and Emma Meesseman combined for 81 of the team's points. Mabrey led the way for the Sky, scoring 28 points on 11-of-22 shooting. Copper added 25 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists, while Parker finished with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Meesseman contributed 13 points and eight rebounds. The Fever were led by Aaliyah Boston, who had 27 points and 17 rebounds. Victoria Vivians added 19 points, while Breanna Stewart had 16 points and eight rebounds. The game was close throughout, with neither team leading by more than six points in the first half. The Fever led by three points at halftime, but the Sky came out strong in the third quarter and took a nine-point lead. The Fever fought back in the fourth quarter and tied the game with just over a minute remaining. The Sky had the chance to win the game in regulation, but Mabrey's shot at the buzzer was blocked by Boston. In overtime, the Sky took control of the game and outscored the Fever 13-6. Mabrey and Copper combined for 10 points in overtime, while Parker added three points and grabbed five rebounds. The Sky's win improves their record to 9-4 on the season. They will next face the Minnesota Lynx on Wednesday night.
